It is understood that since the second half of the year, the prices of various rubber additives, including accelerators, antioxidants, insoluble sulfur, etc. have risen. As of the 19th, the prices of additives including accelerator CZ and antioxidant 4020 have reached a new high since the second quarter, and the upward trend is still continuing.
As an important link in the rubber industry chain, rubber additives are essential raw materials for the tire manufacturing industry, and more than 70% of them are used in tire manufacturing. This round of recovery in the rubber additive market is also closely related to the recovery of the tire industry.
Since the second quarter, the domestic tire industry has been booming in both production and sales, and companies have continued to maintain a high operating rate, and there has been a situation where supply exceeds demand. Driven by upstream demand, orders from additive companies have increased significantly.
