Properties: White crystals. BHT is soluble in toluene, soluble in organic solutions such as acetone, ethanol, benzene, ether, isopropanol, methanol, 2-butanone, ethylene glycol ether, petroleum ether, etc. It is insoluble in water and alkaline solutions. BHT is a non-staining hindered phenolic antioxidant, and also an efficient peroxide retarder.
Application: BHT can inhibit or delay the oxidative degradation of plastics or rubber, thereby extending their service life. BHT can prevent the increase of acid value or viscosity of lubricating oil and fuel oil. Antioxidants are stabilizers for synthetic rubber (styrene butadiene, nitrile, polyurethane, butadiene, etc.), polyethylene, and polyvinyl chloride. Antioxidants can be used as food additives and can also be applied in ink, adhesives, leather, casting, printing and dyeing, coatings, pharmaceuticals, and electronics industries.
Packaging:25kg plastic woven bag, paper with plastic film bag, kraft paper bag .
Storage: The product should be stored in a dry and cooling place with good ventilation. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.
